*Refund Policy for Hosts

At Domia, we want Hosts to have sufficient time to evaluate our platform and determine whether it meets their business needs. This Refund Policy explains when and how subscription fees may be refunded.
By purchasing a Domia subscription, you agree to this Refund Policy and acknowledge that your subscription is subject to a minimum twelve (12) month contractual commitment, billed monthly, and will automatically renew for successive twelve (12) month terms unless you notify Domia otherwise before the renewal date.
New subscribers are eligible for a full refund of their first subscription payment if they submit a refund request within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of the initial subscription purchase.

If approved, Domia will refund the subscription payment using the original payment method whenever possible.
Upon approval of a refund within the 14-day guarantee period, the subscription agreement will be terminated and no further payments will be due.

Domia subscriptions are billed monthly and require a minimum contractual commitment of twelve (12) months.
Subscribers may request a full refund only within the initial 14-day money-back guarantee period.
After the 14-day guarantee period has expired:
At the end of the initial twelve (12) month term, the subscription will automatically renew for an additional twelve (12) month term, and thereafter for successive twelve (12) month terms, unless the subscriber provides notice of non-renewal before the renewal date.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each twelve (12) month term unless the subscriber notifies Domia of their intention not to renew.
Notice of non-renewal must be provided before the renewal date through the account settings or by contacting Domia Support.
If no notice of non-renewal is received before the renewal date, the subscriber agrees that the subscription will automatically renew for a further twelve (12) month term under the applicable subscription fees and terms in effect at the time of renewal.
After the 14-day money-back guarantee period has expired, subscribers may not terminate their subscription before the end of the current twelve (12) month contractual term.
If a subscriber stops using the Service, closes their account, or requests cancellation before the end of the contract term, all remaining monthly payments under the twelve (12) month commitment shall remain due and payable.
Domia reserves the right to recover any unpaid subscription fees owed under the contractual commitment.

Approved refunds are generally processed within ten (10) business days.
Actual processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
Subscribers agree to contact Domia before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
Domia reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts associated with fraudulent or abusive chargeback activity.
Initiating a chargeback does not cancel the subscriber's contractual obligations under the twelve (12) month subscription agreement.

DOMIA acts solely as a technology platform that connects guests with independent property owners, hosts, and accommodation providers. DOMIA is not the owner, operator, manager, agent, or representative of any property listed on the platform.
All bookings are entered into directly between the guest and the host. The host is solely responsible for establishing, managing, and enforcing their cancellation, refund, modification, and booking policies.
Once a booking has been confirmed, any request for cancellation, refund, compensation, credit, or booking modification must be addressed directly to the host and will be subject to the host's applicable policies and discretion.
DOMIA does not guarantee that a refund will be granted and is not responsible or liable for any host's decision regarding refunds, cancellations, no-shows, booking disputes, service quality, property conditions, or any other matter arising from the guest's stay.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DOMIA shall not be liable for any financial loss, damages, expenses, or claims resulting from a host's refusal to provide a refund or from any dispute between a guest and a host.
Where required by law, DOMIA may assist in facilitating communication between the guest and the host; however, DOMIA is not obligated to mediate disputes and does not act as an arbitrator or decision-maker regarding refund claims.
By making a booking through the DOMIA platform, guests acknowledge and agree that all refund decisions remain solely the responsibility of the host and that DOMIA bears no responsibility for the outcome of any refund request.
Cancel from your booking confirmation or the "My bookings" page, or contact the property or info@domiastay.io. The applicable refund is calculated automatically from the policy that applied to your booking.
Approved refunds are returned by Stripe to your original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
If a property cancels your confirmed booking, you are entitled to a full refund. For any dispute, contact info@domiastay.io and we will help mediate with the host.
